	Team Bike Challenge 200 6:
	The Team Bike Challenge is a month-long bicycle competition held every June, in which teams of five track the number of days they make trips by bicycle instead of by car. Each day team members make a trip by bike they earn points for their team. As the team earns points, members become eligible for fun prizes such as movie tickets, T-shirts and iTunes and bike shop gift certificates. See 2006 winners and get ready for 2007.

	You may now access our County-Wide Bike Map online. View high resolution, printable maps of the entire Santa Barbara County. The 2005 edition of the Santa Barbara County Bike Map is now available. 	Online carpool matchlist service launched
	Get up-to-date information about people with your similar commute and work hours. Once logged on, we'll generate a personalized carpool matchlist from which you'll be able to send standardized or personalized emails to other commuters as well as update your personal commute information. Register today.
	Traffic Solutions launches FlexWork Santa Barbara Pilot Program
	In April 2004, SBCAG Traffic Solutions selected Telecommuting Advantage Group (TAG) to launch the FlexWork Santa Barbara Pilot Program. TAG is a leading telecommuting and flexible work schedule technical consultant that works with both large and small companies, government agencies, universities and hospitals to develop, implement and monitor FlexWork programs. Through a new FlexWork Santa Barbara Pilot Program, the Traffic Solutions is offering free consulting services to 10 organizations in Santa Barbara County that are considering starting or expanding FlexWork for their employees. The primary goal of the program will be to reduce congestion along the Highway 101 corridor by decreasing commute trips during peak periods. Qualified candidates for the pilot program will receive individually tailored consulting services from a nationally recognized FlexWork consulting company at no charge. 	Emergency Ride Home Program
	Traffic Solutions has launched a new program, designed to make it more comfortable for commuters to leave their cars at home and commute by carpool, vanpool, bicycle, bus or foot instead. The Emergency Ride Home Program provides eligible participants with a free ride home if they have a personal emergency on a day they commuted by alternative transportation.
	Commuter Choice Tax Benefits Raised to $100/month
	Beginning January 1, 2002, employers are able to offer their employees up to $100 per month in pre-tax commuting benefits, a boost from the $65 previously allowed under the federal tax code and made possible by the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century. 	Special Amtrak Commuter Fares
	In an effort to make commuting by rail more appealing to Central Coast commuters, Traffic Solutions has been working with Amtrak to develop attractively priced commuter passes. Central Coast rail commuters enjoy a comfortable ride on the newly upgraded Pacific Surfliner. There's even a bike rack available on the new trains!
