Taking Transit in Santa Barbara County |
In Santa Barbara County, residents, visitors,
and workers have access to some of the best bus
and train services in the nation. There are many benefits
associated with taking transit for short and long trips. As
a commuter you can save thousands of dollars a year on gas
and car operation costs, and put aside up to $245/month
pre-tax to cover fares, but it doesn't stop there. Beyond
the cash savings are reductions in stress and traffic,
improved air quality, and amenities such as free wireless
internet on many of the regional services. And if you're a
commuter, you don't have to worry about getting stranded at
work because Traffic Solutions offers an
Emergency Ride Home Program
for bus and train commuters, as well as carpoolers and
vanpoolers.
Reclaim your time and find a service that fits your commute
in the list provided below. Call 963-SAVE for assistance and
questions about transit or the many other rideshare options
in our county. |
