Rideshare Week Champion Prizes

The participants who log an eligible trip to work all five days will be in a special drawing for a $100 gift card and a Sunset Cruise for two.

Win more prizes by sharing your green commute with others. Upload a photo, video, article, or comment to our Traffic Solutions Facebook page - and tell your friends to "like" your post. The participants whose posts get the most “likes” will win gift cards for $100. Your post can be about sustainable transportation in general or your commute. Form a Vanpool and We'll Pick Up the Tab

Traffic Solutions is raising our contribution toward new vanpools for Rideshare Month. Any vans that complete their lease papers in the month of October will get 100% of the lease paid by us the first month and 25% paid the second month. Find out more about forming a vanpool and give us a call at 963-SAVE to get things rolling.

How do I register?

Rideshare Week daily prize drawings and champion drawing:

If you already have a Traffic Solutions Online account, registration isn't necessary. Just log in to your account and use your Commute Calendar to log the days that you use sustainable transportation to and from work. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one in just a few minutes. These prize drawings will be for everyone who logs eligible trips on their calendar.

Facebook competition and prizes:

Post your photo, video, article, or comment on Traffic Solutions' Facebook page. If your post gets the most likes in its category, you will win the $100 gift card. You must also log your trips on your Commute Calendar in order to be considered an eligible participant.

Rules:

Sustainable Modes:

Bus, bike, walk, skate, carpool, vanpool, train, and telecommute.

Eligible Trips:

Round-trip commutes to and from work only (as well as telecommuting).
No lunch errands or meetings.

Facebook Postings:

The postings with the most likes by 8:00AM on Oct. 31 will win. Prizes will only be awarded if there are a minimum of five submissions/postings in each category. In addition, the following criteria apply:

Photo/Video posting
Your photo/video posting must be an original photo/video taken by you. It must fit the theme of any of the sustainable transportation modes for Rideshare Week. The participant who posts the photo/video with the most “likes” will win the prize.

Article posting
Post a link to any article about sustainable transportation. The participant who posts the article link with the most “likes” will win the prize.

Comment posting
Tell a story about your commute. It should be inspiring and compelling. The participant who posts the commute comment with the most “likes” will win the prize.

Prizes

The prizes for the five daily drawings as well as the three Facebook postings are $100 gift cards to Horny Toad, and the following prizes valued at $100. The Rideshare Week Champion will win a sunset cruise for two.

Prize Announcements:

Daily Drawings - The daily prize drawings for $100 gift cards/valued prize will be announced the morning following the day you take your trip to work. Make sure to log your trip by 11:59 PM on the day you take your trip.

Rideshare Week Champion - The sunset cruise will be announced Oct. 31, the Monday following Rideshare Week. Log your trips by 11:59PM on Oct. 30.

Facebook Winners - The winner of each posting category will receive a $100 gift card/valued prize. The winners will be chosen based on the most likes at 8:00AM on Oct. 31. Prizes will only be awarded if there are a minimum of five submission/posting in each category.
