Employer Winners
Employer vs. Employer - Competitions and Prizes |
|
In addition to the five person team competition
and prizes, a big part of the Commuter Challenge is the
employer competition. We have designated size based employer
categories to even the playing field. There will be one
winner for each category. Each winning employer will get a
photo of their participants in their local newspaper,
commending their performance, as well as the prize listed
below. |

Employer Points
- It doesn't matter what
team your employees are on, or if their team has
non-employees.
- Each eligible trip your
employees log goes toward your company's total points.
- Your company score is
updated constantly, and reflects the total trips logged
by your employees divided by the number of employees you
have in Santa Barbara County.
- You only compete against
employers in your same size category, leveling the
playing field and increasing your chance of winning.

winning employers and their final score. |

Community Involvement
What
happens when your company participates in Traffic Solutions’
2009 Commuter Challenge? You gain invaluable exposure for
your business as you support sustainable transportation,
better air quality, and improved employee health and
wellness - including commute cash savings and fun prizes for
your employees.

Media Coverage
With volatile fuel prices, concerns about global warming, and major
highway construction on Hwy 101, we are
expecting great media coverage and a high level of
participation by Santa Barbara employees and residents.
Winning employers will get a photo of their participants in
their local newspaper, commending their performance, just
like the 2008
Employer Winners. There
will also be press releases to announce the winners and
prompt media stories and interviews.
